Exhibition & Sponsorship

There are a number of sponsorship opportunities as well as exhibition stands that can be booked by companies wishing to extend their support to the conference and its attendees. This is the BACG Annual meeting (cancelled in 2020 due to COVID_19) and we would really like to make it a special meeting for everyone attending. The meeting will showcase innovative research at the frontier of crystal growth and provide a venue for scientists, industrialists, academics, students, graduates and post-docs at all career stages to meet and engage and network.  The meeting usually attracts around 140 delegates.

We invite your Company/Institution to support this important conference through the various sponsorship opportunities or as an Exhibitor. Sponsoring opportunities such as the opening reception, poster sessions and conference dinner, also are available.  We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to support and promote cutting-edge research. The exhibition will be held in conjunction with the main conference programme. Dedicated exhibition viewing time will be incorporated into the programme to ensure maximum exposure to delegates.

TIC offers award-winning, dedicated conferencing facilities for up to 600 delegates. It has been named in the Best Academic Venue category at the M&IT Industry awards for two consecutive years. Further, the commitment of the venue towards sustainability has won Gold status in the Green Tourism business scheme.

CONFERENCE DINNER, 8th July 2020

On Wednesday there is a conference dinner, which is a semi-formal evening event. At the conference there will be speeches and a prize giving ceremony.

The event is a great time to come together towards the end of the conference and enjoy a three- course meal at the prestigious Glasgow City Halls location.

 

Tickets for the dinner are priced at £60 per person.

ADDITIONAL STAND PANEL

Additional Stand Personnel are welcome to attend the conference at an additional cost of £50 per personnel per day.

Poster Prize

GBP 600

Your company’s name will be associated with the award and will be publicised on the presentation of the award. Your company logo and website link will also be displayed on the conference website. The award will be a cheque with the remainder amount subsidising the conference.

BACG Young Scientist Award

GBP 500

Your company's name will be associated with the award and your company logo will be printed out on the diploma.

Drinks Reception

GBP 750

Our drinks reception is an ideal opportunity to meet delegates. Your logo will be displayed in the final programme and on the conference website along with the link to your company website.

Tea, coffee, lunches

GBP 300 /break

As a sponsor for our tea/coffee breaks, your logo will appear in the final programme and on the conference website.

Notepads

GBP 350 or at cost supplied by your organisation

Your company name and logo will be printed on the notepads supplied to the delegates. This acts as a constant reminder to the delegates of your company's support throughout and after the event.

Pens

GBP 250 or at cost supplied by your organisation

Your company name and logo will be printed on the pens supplied to the delegates at the event.
