When you submit you agree that the image can be publicly displayed on the BACG website or be used for future BACG meetings' advertisement.
You must be registered for the 2022 BACG Annual Conference and must attend the meeting to participate.
Images should be related to crystals and/or crystallisation. As "Crystals in Art", aesthetic aspects rather than scientific quality will be the key elements in the competition.
Only one submission per contestant will be considered.
Images obtained by any imaging technique are allowed; multiple images can be combined into one composite image, image manipulation is explicitly allowed.
All images are to be submitted as a high resolution png/tiff file and must have a maximum size of 30 MB.
Format: all submitted images must include a title, a short description of the technique used, the object that was imaged and any special conditions. In addition, the submitter's name and email address must be given.
Voting will open during the BACG meeting and winners will be announced at the end of the meeting.
