Inspired Design, Assembly and Properties of Molecular Materials @ GRAND SUMMIT HOTEL AT SUNDAY RIVER
Jun 19 – Jun 24 all-day

This 2022 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) serves as a forum to discuss the current state of the art, to debate open questions, and to identify new promising research directions in the highly interdisciplinary field of Crystal Engineering. Themes ranging from the fundamental assembly of molecular materials to the design and realization of material properties for targeted applications (e.g. synthesis, pharmaceuticals, electronics and separations) will be explored. The program intentionally seeks to include broad perspectives from researchers in academia, national laboratories and industry with the goal of strengthening the links between fundamental and applied studies. With an influx of new ideas as well as experimental and computational approaches, this conference can help to define the paradigm-shifting questions and future directions of the crystal engineering field.

Presenters are encouraged to emphasize their latest advances including unpublished results. A hallmark of this GRC is vibrant and highly interactive poster sessions where students, postdocs and established researchers present and learn about new and exciting research. With many opportunities for meaningful discussion, all participants are expected to help foster an open and healthy exchange of scientific ideas.

25th International Conference on the Chemistry of the Organic Solid State @ Ohrid, Macedonia
Jul 3 – Jul 8 all-day

25th International Conference
on the Chemistry of the Organic Solid State

This event marks nearly half a century of the history of the ICCOSS series of conferences, which continues to gather together and is the signature conference of the researchers from the solid-state chemistry, crystal engineering, and crystal growth communities. The first meeting was in 1968 in Brookhaven, and we relish the opportunity to host this 25th meeting in the beautiful town of Ohrid, on the shores of the Lake Ohrid, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a cultural and spiritual center of South-Eastern Europe. The conference program includes plenary lectures, oral presentations (40 minutes or 20 minutes), and two poster sessions. The oral presentations include invited lectures and a selection of lectures from the submitted abstracts. The venue for all sessions and the workshop on powder diffraction following the conference is Hotel Inex Olgica.

3rd European School on Crystal Growth @ Hôtel Novotel Paris Est

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the European Network of Crystal Growth (ENCG), the Institute Chimie-ParisTech (ENSCP) and the Institute of Physico-Chemical Biology (IBPC), the French Committee for Crystal Growth (CFCC-AFC) is pleased to welcome you in Paris, France, from Monday, July 25th, to Wednesday, July 27th, 2022 to attend the 7th European Conference on Crystal Growth (ECCG7), which will be held at the Novotel Paris Est Conference Center.

Young researchers and PhD students from all over Europe and the rest of the World are most welcome to participate to the 3rd European School on Crystal Growth (ESCG3), which will be held prior to ECCG7, from Wednesday, July 20th, to Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, at ENSCP and IBPC, in the Quartier Latin district.

We consider the forthcoming Seventh European Conference on Crystal Growth, ECCG7, as a significant international scientific event that goes far beyond the European borders. We believe that ECCG7 will have a major impact in the condensed matter physics and chemistry communities, the biological crystallization community, for the material science researchers, young scientists and PhD students, all being involved in the field of phase formation and crystal growth.

The conference program of ECCG7 will include 15 sessions covering the most advanced research in all topics of crystal growth phenomena, theory, experiments and applications, planned to be presented and discussed in three plenary lectures, about 30 invited talks, various oral presentations and poster sessions. For the first time, ECCG7 will implement three parallel sessions. A gala dinner on the Seine riverboat La Patache is also planned. Besides, ECCG7 will be the opportunity to award many prizes (DGKK, Crystals, CrystEngComm, …), especially for PhD students and young researchers, and to hold the general assembly of the ENCG.

We are also thankful to the sponsoring companies, our long-term partners in the quest for high technical quality in our scientific work.

We hope that you will enjoy both your stay and scientific experience in Paris, France.

Looking forward to meeting you in Paris,
The ESCG3 & ECCG7 organization committee
